The Cameras & Sensors group is looking for a camera systems architect intern to drive current and future product architectures that meet Facebook’s product vision, including exploration of feature requirements, image sensor & ISP capabilities and power performances. The ideal candidate will lead multiple system analyses and tradeoff evaluations while pushing boundaries in the imaging technology space.
Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long, and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer science or related technical discipline
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Experiences with CMOS image sensor technology
Description（岗位职责）
Collaborate with cross functional partners include internal and external image sensor design teams, computer vision scientists, and system architects.
Work to understand camera system level imaging requirements, derive specifications, and propose camera system architecture options.
Explore the functional blocks involved in both the image sensor and application processor.
Perform tradeoff evaluations on speed, performance, power, area for different partitioning options across image sensor and application processor, to inform the next generation image sensor and camera system architecture design.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship
Experience with the latest CMOS image sensor design, readout, and interface protocols
Experience with digital IC architecture or design supporting computer vision, machine learning or image processing use cases
Knowledge in the field of image processing, image capture, ISP design and architecture
Experience with methods for partitioning a solution across hardware
Experience evaluating camera system architectural tradeoffs in speed, performance, power, area
Experience working in the consumer electronics field
Industrial experience with the latest development on low power, CMOS machine perception and photographic image sensors
