The Core Platform Bring-up team within Apple's CoreOS organization is looking for an extraordinary software engineer to work on state-of-the art technology, debug, and bring-up of next generation Apple devices. This group is committed to building fully integrated operating systems that combine hardware, software, and services into a single Apple experience.
In this role, you will have the chance to work on many core technologies for Apple products and make a major impact in how they are developed and shipped. Qualifications（岗位要求）
A genuine passion for embedded development.
Highly proficient in C/C++.
Knowledge of hardware platforms & processor architectures.
Bachelorʼs degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field.
Description（岗位职责）
Work with multi-functional teams to support requirements for a wide variety of Apple products.
Bring-up, verification, and debug of new SoCs and hardware platforms.
Develop firmware, drivers, and hardware abstraction layers.
Drive product features and functional/industry specifications.
Involvement in specification for hardware platforms.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Proven creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to deliver proven work on tight schedules.
Excellent collaborative skills.
Experience with JTAG and other debuggers.
Previous experience writing embedded device drivers.
Previous experience with platform bring-up or porting of operating systems.
Previous exposure to hardware and processor simulation.
