Apple is seeking an enthusiastic lab technician for its Mac Hardware Validation Engineering team. Candidate in this role will help with setting up test hardware and configure test environment for system hardware validation testing. The Mac organization is looking for an outstanding lab technician to work in a large scale system testing lab, to support the latest Mac system development projects.

Qualifications（岗位要求）
2 years of PC, Mac or IT technical support experience or equivalent working knowledge in computer hardware and networking.
Strong in diagnosing and resolving user-level issues in MacOS, iOS or Linux.
A team-player in nature with good communications and documentations skills.
Description（岗位职责）
In this role as a technician, you will set up and manage a large-scale hardware rack testing environment for Mac system development projects. You are expected to provide physical in-lab set up support to enable automated system testing on test racks. You will work with the validation engineering team in project planning and in setting up the test hardware configurations. You will also work with test automation team in trouble-shooting test environment issues and in improving lab automations. You will work with other teams within Apple, including Secure Logistics team for hardware and inventory handling, Facility and IT teams for lab infrastructure operations.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experienced in computer lab support work and setting up computer configurations for functional testing.
Experienced with large quantity hardware logistics and inventory management.
Familiar with Python or shell scripting, capable in modifying or creating automation scripts.
Capability in fine-pitch component board soldering.
Ability to work independently, strong organization skills and detail-oriented, with demonstrated capability to innovate as required.
