MetaWorks is the team that builds Meta’s work solutions in 2D and 3D such as Workplace, Workchat, Meetings, and Quest for Business.
Metrics & Measurement is a new horizontal team across all MetaWorks products with the goal of building the capabilities, tools, and processes to enable quantification of the user experience and measuring progresso to our UX goals.
To this end, the team tackles direct product measurement problems (e.g. large scale/cross product sentiment tracking), is building the the guidelines, tools, and templates for enabling teams to run ad hoc measurement programs (e.g. canonical question bank), and establishes the infrastructure for enhancing our capabilities (e.g. in-VR survey tools, skill development).
This is a horizontal role that will have ample opportunities to collaborate with UXRs, DS's, DE's, and other partners across the MetaWorks and Reality Labs Team. There is substantial scope for growth in this position for the right candidate.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years’ of relevant experience in user experience, applied research and/or product research and development or a Master’s degree and 5+ years’ relevant experience, or PhD and 2+ year relevant experience
Relevant experience within user experience, applied research setting and/or product research and development
Experience coding with R, SQL, STATA, SPSS or equivalent
Experience applying statistical analysis methods such as Regressions, ANOVA, and T-Tests
Experience conducting In-Depth Interviews or Focus Groups and Concept Testing or Usability Testing
Experience developing and fielding user surveys
Experience translating research findings into strategic narratives

Work closely with product and business teams to identify research topics
Act as a thought leader in the domain of research, while advocating for the people who could use our products
Design and execute end-to-end custom primary research using a wide variety of methods
Effectively manage and prioritize research plans through ambiguous and fast-changing environments, align and efficiently execute critical insights and work with a large group of stakeholders
Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways
Work cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering and marketing
Establish process, tools, and resources to support the development of the practice
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Degrees in a human behavior related field, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information science, Media studies, Computer Science, or Economics
Experience operating in B2B settings
Experience working with constrained sample sizes and/or sensitive populations
Experience with building a function or capability from 0 - 1
