Summary（岗位介绍）
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Software Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic team in ensuring the security of VR, AR, and MR applications on the VROS (Android-based platform and operating system) and future platforms within the Meta Store ecosystem. As the manager, you will play a critical role in protecting our users, app developers, and the platform itself from a wide range of threats. You will build trust among our user base, foster a secure environment for developers, and safeguard our ecosystem of applications.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
2+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
Proven track record of building and supporting cross-functional teams.
Experience supporting, coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers.
Effective communication skills, with experience to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of growing teams and organizations.
Knowledge of industry best practices and standards for software development and security.
BS / MS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, relevant work experience).
Description（岗位职责）
Lead a team of skilled software engineers in the development and implementation of cutting-edge security solutions for VR, AR, and MR applications, including helping to hire and grow the team.
Build systems that teams across the company rely on to secure user and application data in the Meta Store, backend infrastructure and across our family of products.
Support performance management process to recognize high performance and support those who are struggling.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the software engineers on the team, advocate for the team’s technical interests and needs.
Work with your team and cross functional partners to define and influence strategy to protect and support app developers (1p and 3p) to help them create and distribute their applications securely within the Meta app ecosystem.
Work closely with engineering leaders across the organization to help them prioritize security in their products and drive adoption of the systems the team builds to secure experiences and address security concerns promptly.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience in security (application security, vulnerability management).
Experience working on security for AR or VR.
Experience in Android.
