The TED Audio Systems Engineering Team is looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Audio Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will be an instinctive engineer who involves their head, heart, and hands in the development process. Meaningful experience in all aspects of product level audio system development; building technology POCs, product design and development, testing, FACA, production readiness, etc. The ideal engineer employs data driven decisions, requiring both objective and subjective evaluation, and applies a common sense mindset to complex engineering challenges. The best fit for the role will be comfortable leading and working through others, owning system level decision making and direction while effectively collaborating with specialist functions who own the details. Clear, concise communication is non-negotiable. Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor’s in Acoustics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience focussed around audio design, testing, failure analysis, etc.
Experience directly & indirectly influencing product objectives to ensure design direction supports product experience intent.
Product development and demonstration utilizing FEM/BEM/FEM simulation, MATLAB, etc.
Description（岗位职责）
Primary hardware cross-functional interface (PD/PM/ID/EE/Test/etc.)
Define system level objective acoustic performance targets.
Holistic audio system design, definition and influence (i.e. render/capture/amplifier/power delivery/audio chain).
Collaboration with internal/external specialized functional teams.
Develop POC HW and demos to establish performance and gain XFN and leadership buy-in.
Collaborative development of new audio technologies.
FATP test specification.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Master’s or PhD in Acoustics or Physics with 10+ years experience.
Additional professional tools to increase influence, such as Algorithm prototyping (Max MSP, MATLAB, etc), 3D modeling (Nx, SolidWorks, etc), Transducer design (speakers, microphone, MEM’s, etc), Acoustic test development (lab, factory), Highly effective presentation skills.
