Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible — all while staying connected to the people around us.
Apple Vision Pro’s Engineering Operations team is seeking for an experienced Software Infrastructure engineer. In this role, you would develop internal services that contribute towards the build and release lifecycle of the visionOS platform. You will work cross-functionally with other developer and system architecture teams to aid in the design and assist with the implementation to improve stability, security and scalability. A successful candidate will be highly self-motivated and passionate about excellence, quality, and detail.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Strong software engineering skills to develop scalable and robust applications for build and release systems.
Knowledge of core operating system principles, networking fundamentals, and systems management.
Understanding of SRE principals, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, and other common reliability engineering concepts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Description（岗位职责）
Lead infrastructure-as-code projects, design APIs and build tools to be used by developer teams for reliable and repeatable cloud deployments.
Implement abstractions to simplify the complexities of cloud providers (AWS, GCP), open source technologies (Kubernetes ecosystem), and internal Apple infrastructure.
Obsess about the usability of the systems you build, allowing engineers to have an intuitive and predictable experience working with infrastructure at scale.
Build and drive automation capabilities for the organization.
Participate in rotational on-call schedule.
