Summary（岗位介绍）
As Display Test Engineer at Facebook AR/VR, you will lead electrical engineering test activities on prototype opto-electrical systems for future consumer augmented reality (AR) experiences. You will be on a team which is working on iterative prototypes requiring data collection and analysis using highly sophisticated tools. You will provide technical leadership in the creation of and execution of test plans. Most data collection will require custom hardware and software to be created in order to make the measurements, relying on your experience breaking down difficult problems into manageable, testable components. We want someone who is capable of: operating independently, designing tests based on high-level test needs, and verifying the data collected was valid, including correlation of data to sub-component and system level. You should be comfortable working with new technology.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of industry experience in display and/or consumer electronics industry
3+ years of experience with test equipment automation using Python and/or LabVIEW
Experience in generating and executing test plans
Experience in using oscilloscopes, high speed digital test equipment, logic analyzers, and function generators
Experience with vendor management
Experience with optical systems or electro-optical characterization
Description（岗位职责）
Define electrical verification methodologies and systems for each of the different systems under development by working with researchers, architects, and the design teams
Interpret high-level test requirements and create a test plan to satisfy the requirement
Clearly communicate test plans and results
Specify and set up required test equipment
Design automated tests for the custom configuration
Interpret test results to make sure the data collection was successful
Own test system functionality including troubleshooting
Create instrument drivers for test automation
Manage test driver library
Precision probing of electro-optical systems
Managing test engineers or technicians to execute tests or interest to expand in this area
Cross-functional representative that can effectively work with Optical Engineers to link EE and Optics performance characteristics
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Masters or PhD Degree
8+ years of industry experience in display and/or consumer electronics industry or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience with test equipment automation using Python and/or LabVIEW
Experience in HALT and/or reliability testing
