The Reality Labs (RL) Research Team brings together a world-class team of researchers, developers, and engineers to create the future of AR and VR, which together will become as universal and essential as smartphones and personal computers are today. The Surreal Vision group at RL Research is seeking exceptional Research Engineers to solve the next generation of research challenges on the path to building future machine perception enabled technologies. This role focuses on developing and advancing computer vision algorithms and SW systems for 3D reconstruction, computational imaging, and rendering.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
5+ years experience with real world system building and data collection, including design, coding (C++) and evaluation (C++/Python)
Bachelor's degree in the following fields: Computer Science, Software Engineering,Robotics or related
2+ years background in computer graphics or 3D computer vision
Knowledge of ray tracing, rasterization and linear algebra
Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Description(岗位职责)
Plan and execute innovative engineering development to advance the state-of-the-art in machine perception and graphics, specifically in 3D reconstruction, computational imaging, and rendering in AR/VR systems
Develop and prototype advanced tightly integrated hardware and software technologies in the domain of 3D reconstruction, computational imaging, and rendering etc.
Analyze and improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and stability of currently deployed systems
Collaborate with team members throughout the lifetime of a project, from prototyping to deployed products
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Master’s or PhD degree in the following fields: Computer Science, Software Engineering,Robotics or related
Experience implementing 3D graphics features such as lighting, effects, shaders and other low-level systems with Unreal or Unity
Experience in 3D reconstruction or computational imaging
Experience with tools such as Maya, Houdini, Blender, 3Ds Max, Arnold, RenderMan, or Cycles
Experience in real-time computer graphics or modern GPU programming (CUDA, OpenGL, OpenCL)
