Apple’s Streaming Media team is looking for a skilled and motivated software engineer to join our team. Join us and be part of the team that powers streaming experiences on iPhone, Apple TV and beyond. You will take part in designing groundbreaking features and experiences for future iOS releases and contribute to the advancement of video streaming technologies.
Unix OS fundamentals
Prior software development experience for iOS, macOS, Unix or Linux
Strong coding skills in C/C++ and a scripting language (e.g., Python)
Debugging and troubleshooting software issues
Using system profiling, network analysis tools
As a Triage Automation Engineer, you will work closely with the CoreMedia & AVFoundation framework development teams and be responsible for designing and developing:
Tools which reduce manual bug triage time, for instance: log summaries, issue extraction, visual representation (charting) of software performance.
Triage automation software, for classes of problems which are amenable to automation using state of the art techniques, including static code analysis, stack trace processing, natural language processing, machine learning.
