The Audio and Media Technologies (AMT) group is at the center of Apple’s innovative products, including the AirPods, HomePod, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Vision Pro. AMT’s Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Spatial Audio, Siri, FaceTime, media capture and playback. As part of the Audio Algorithm team you will help us create the future of spatial audio rendering for our products.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Research experience in spatial audio algorithm development (patents, papers, etc.).
Experience with spatial audio rendering (HRTFs, room simulation, VBAP, Ambisonics, upmixing etc.).
Experience developing real-time audio processing software.
Experience with machine learning for audio applications.
Fluency in C++, MATLAB and Python.
Working knowledge of physical acoustics and spatial hearing.
Working knowledge of deep learning toolkits (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
Description（岗位职责）
The Audio Algorithms team is seeking a highly skilled and creative engineer interested in advancing spatial audio technologies at Apple. As a member of the team, you will work together with other researchers to codevelop signal processing and machine learning technologies for AR/VR applications, object-based media, and rendering content on all Apple products from iPhones/Macs to AirPods and the Vision Pro. You’ll collaborate with multiple teams across product development, acoustics, audio software, Apple Music, and others to integrate your ideas into products and build future technologies that will impact millions of Apple customers.
