Qualifications（岗位要求）
Knowledge of Systems Engineering is a must (multithreading, inter process communication, memory management, networking, background processes, etc…)
Current production level experience implementing solutions in Objective-C and/or other object-oriented language
Competent user of Performance Tracing tools such as “Instruments” and “Valgrind”
Development experience optimizing concurrency, threading, memory management, embedded software constraints, and other systems performance analysis
Passionate about being part of a team where strong communication is highly valued
Description（岗位职责）
The Apple Maps client team is looking for an accomplished Performance Engineer to help build a passionate and diverse team. This team is responsible for ensuring that the next generation of experiences on iPhones, iPods, iPads, Watch and CarPlay will run with the best performance possible. As a team member, you will collaborate with multiple organizations multi-functionally to deliver incredible experiences for our customers. Your work to help measure the current status of these services and help predict potential performance bottlenecks within Apple Maps. Designing, implementing and tracking performance measurements, along with helping to analyze performance issues across our entire Maps App, our frameworks and our daemons are some key responsibilities for this role. We are also looking for this engineer to be technically adept, team-oriented, creative, motivated, flexible, influential, and internally driven to produce successful and innovative results.

WHILE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS ARE NOT VITAL, THEY WOULD BE VERY VALUABLE IN THIS ROLE:
– Knowledge of OS internals and compiler technology is a plus
– Mapping and/or Navigation
