- Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 2+ years User Experience Research experience
- OR Master's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 1+ year(s) User Experience Research experience
- OR Doctorate in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
Cloud Screen Requirement: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

UX Research IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.

Description(岗位职责)
- Work alongside product and design to identify and prioritize research questions based on analysis of current knowledge, project goals, and risks.
- Develop and implement user-centered research throughout design and development using a variety of methodologies including: ethnography, contextual inquiry, diary studies, concept testing, benchmarking, competitive analysis, usability, persona/profile creation, and other appropriate qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
- Perform quick but thorough data analysis in order to create insightful and actionable findings presentations- both verbal and written - and a willingness to advocate and escalate research insights.
- Deliver high quality user research solutions in an environment with frequently shifting priorities and new market opportunities.
- Continually monitor research, data, and trends from secondary research sources (both internal and external) such as academic research and industry reports to inform and improve our research methods and methodology.
- Leverage remote research tools such as Usertesting, Dscout.
- Be comfortable conducting research remotely (during COVID and in the future) as well as in a range of consumer environments (home, office, etc.) and lab settings.
- Be a vocal advocate for the user.
