Apple is seeking a highly motivated, energetic Wireless Systems Validation Engineer to drive wireless system designs, test and optimize performance and validate KPIs.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
6+ years experience in design and development of wireless communication systems
In-depth knowledge of Phy/Mac design of one or more of WiFi, BT, Cellular will be necessary.
Hands on experience in being up lab test stations and functional, performance characterization with operational knowledge of lab equipment (such as spectrum analyzer, channel emulator, signal generator, power meter, etc)
Experience with using Matlab, Python and/or C/C++ for algorithm development, link and system simulations
Knowledge of low power algorithms and protocol optimizations for power critical application is a plus
Knowledge of Apple OS, Xcode and APIs is a plis
Experience with multi-radio coexistence management is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, documentation skills and ability to develop detailed system architecture documentation
Description（岗位职责）
In this technical role, you’ll be part of a product systems architecture team that’s responsible for design, development and productization of some of the most innovative consumer electronic devices. You’ll work with dedicated RF HW, SW and design engineers in shaping wireless architecture, design and validation and providing the features and benefits to Apple customers.
The role involves working closely with hardware and software engineers to design, validate, test wireless functionality to enable a variety of innovative features and enable use-cases across a portfolio of products and services. Collaborate with cross functional teams to model E2E wireless systems and explore opportunities to improve end-user experience
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Drive functional and performance validation of wireless HW and SW designs
• Develop strategic relationships with cross-functional engineering teams to design innovative enhancements to wireless protocols
• Define test suites and test cases, bring up wireless lab test stations, simulate and verify performance and power KPIs
• Contribute towards technical specifications in relevant standards bodies
