Apple is looking for a highly motivated R&D Equipment Engineer to join the Panel Process and Optics (PPO) Engineering Team. As a R&D Equipment Engineer, you will work in a lab environment, installing new equipment, conducting routine maintenance, and troubleshooting down equipment. Responsibilities will also include supporting other engineers on the team to upgrade equipment and enable new processes.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Strong hands-on experience identifying equipment issues, defining and implementing solutions independently
Strong ability to continuously develop personal knowledge and expertise related to the service of complex R&D process and metrology equipment including laser, lamination, interconnection and dispensing tools
Experience maintaining and servicing vacuum, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Experience with CAD systems (such as NX, Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.) to support equipment troubleshooting and upgrade
Experience working with machining tools is a plus
Description(岗位职责)
To ensure success in this role, you should have high-level problem-solving skills to identify issues and repair a wide range of lab-scale process and metrology tools. An outstanding R&D Equipment Engineer should be able to systematically determine root-cause of equipment issues in order to rapidly and optimally return them to operation and prevent delays to projects. In addition, a core responsibility will include identifying, recommending, testing and implementing improvements to ensure high-quality performance of lab equipment.
