Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible — all while staying connected to the people around us.
Work and contribute towards the engineering of Apple’s state-of-the-art products involving video, audio and graphics in Vision Product Group (VPG) at Apple. We are looking for an outstanding Senior Datacenter Engineer with experience in fleet management and data center infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of data center operations including but not limited to HVAC, power planning, rack elevations, structured cabling design and network hardware provisioning.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Knowledge of Puppet, Ansible or other configuration management tools.
Experience debugging and troubleshooting device hardware/software failures.
Understanding of Networking: You should have a good understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
Experience with common data center infrastructure (HVAC, power distribution, copper and fiber cabling, rack types and capacities).
Experience with logging infrastructure and using tools such as Splunk, Logstash, or Elasticsearch.
Description（岗位职责）
This role works directly with network and server-side partners on hosting content delivery pipelines in a bespoke data center. You will be asked to design automated system testing for compute infrastructure and network hardware. You will be responsible for software license management, hardware EOL planning and management of service monitoring. This is a unique opportunity for a senior engineer to bring development skills and automated processes to data center infrastructure.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
– Experience in developing performance test plans and writing/debugging tests for performance correlation and verification
– Experience programming in Python (C, C++, Objective-C, or Swift a plus)
