Meta’s Reality Labs Research (RLR) is the world’s leading AR/VR research facility, exploring and inventing the future of computing. RLR is tasked with delivering discontinuous technological leaps, both near and long term, that have the potential to reshape the way humans interact with each other and with the digital world in powerful new ways.
This role will lead Reality Labs Hardware Engineering organization, a highly cross-functional organization of electrical engineers, opto-mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, hardware systems, and audio engineers developing, prototyping and incubating novel research for future computing platforms.
As the Director of RLR Hardware Engineering you will have the rare opportunity to enable, support, inspire, and lead a diverse team of the world’s leading engineers working with the world’s leading research to create novel AR/VR technologies that will define the future of computing.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
5+ years of people management experience in multi-disciplinary global technology development teams, including building high-performing teams and organization
10+ years of engineering work experience, including 5+ years experience of hands-on technical management
Experience thinking strategically and executing methodically in an entrepreneurial environment Collaboration and relationship-building experience, working with all levels of management and individual contributors internally and externally
BS in engineering or related field or relevant experience

Lead, manage, mentor, inspire, enable, and grow a world-class hardware engineering team
Develop strategic, collaborative relationships with product peers and engineering, research, business, design, and user research teams to help research teams define research requirements and system architectures
Ensure your team is equipped with the latest capabilities and know-how to design, build and test hardware.
