Meta is looking for a Product Design Leader to develop and launch innovative AR Technologies that enhance and complement smartphone, desktop apps, and web-apps and go beyond them with capabilities unique to head-mounted-displays. The candidate will be responsible for delivering apps that serve as models for developers and offer value to end-users. They will supervise the creation of multiple user-friendly, intuitive, and useful and/or entertaining apps, each developed by a small dedicated team, balancing short-term and long-term goals to set the standard for AR consumer apps in the industry.
This leadership role requires a combination of product design expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver high-quality products quickly. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, are also essential.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
6+ years experience management and leadership experience
5+ years of experience designing for shipping consumer software
User centered experience and knowledge applied to human interaction and shipping products
Experience shaping and leading product strategy
Description（岗位职责）
Manage a team of ICs or design managers across multiple broad initiatives. Build and adjust it to be well-rounded with strong design ICs and managers, and consistently delivering on its goals.
Seen as a key stakeholder in the strategy and operations within their product area. Leading from a Design POV on the strategy and direction of the product. See organizational and process problems as opportunities that no one else sees. Generally solve them with little or no guidance. Drive initiatives with a goal of substantially increasing the impact of your team.
Set the design standard for AR glasses consumer apps in the industry while maintaining internal transparency in work progress. Lead the product design process from ideation to launch for several AR glasses consumer apps.
Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with small skilled strike-teams. Prioritize and sequence work to deliver the fastest and best results from cross-functional teams.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience working on large scale, complex projects across multiple org pillars
Proven experience building multiple mobile and/or AR apps across different verticals, from games to utilities
User centered experience and knowledge applied to human interaction and shipping products with excellent product design craftsmanship
Strong process and milestone-based thinking, with the experience to rally cross-functional partners towards shared objectives
Experience producing functional prototypes
Experience designing for AR and/or VR headsets
Experience managing Design Managers
