EMEA Retail is looking for an experienced Account Manager. The position will primarily involve developing and managing retail channel partners for Meta VR products, creating and implementing partner specific business plans, negotiating pricing and promotions, monitoring competitor activity and supporting marketing initiatives that deliver sales growth.
This is a role that is focused on selling really exciting new technology through our third party retail partners. This is cutting edge technology that will help build the next computing platform – the Metaverse. You’ll work on getting the latest and most innovative technology in consumers hand in a fast paced and innovative environment.
3+ years experience working on Gaming/Entertainment and or Consumer Electronics products or any other relevant product category
7+ years in a senior sales role with a clear record of quota achievement and success in technology based consumer sales
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
3+ years experience in consumer sales leadership
Fluent in both German and English
Previous experience and clear understanding of the European retail landscape
Report into the GM DNB Region – to help manage and drive the sales business for Meta products in the DNB region with a focus on the DACH region.
Drive and manage RL retail partners, implementing effective strategy and programs to meet organization goals Meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
Create and present account strategy to executives and internal / external stakeholders to align resources and achieve mutual goals.
Negotiate and present account programs / contracts, gaining internal alignment and approvals with cross functional partners (finance, legal, operations, etc)
Grow relationships with cross functional leaders (Channel Operations, Sales Enablement, Sales Analytics, Category) to drive account goals, execute JBP process, QBRs and launch planning activities to meet sales objectives within agreed upon budgets and KPIs.
Manage account scorecard, allocate budget, identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
Able to work effectively with various teams across the organisation, essential to be inclusive and collaborative
Experience in go-to-market planning and execution across online and traditional retail channels
Existing relationships with key retailers in the region
Track record of excellence in both business planning and tactical execution, with a clear understanding of the various tools available to drive retail sales
Passionate advocate for innovation and the opportunities presented by disruptive technologies
Experience in working with key retailers in region like Media Markt Saturn.
