Would you like to make an impact on the quality of Apple’s products? We’re looking for a passionate Quality Engineering Manager to head up persona-based testing and demos. The Technology Development Group (TDG) is working with some of Apple's most advanced emerging technologies, including augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). As part of TDG, you’ll lead a technical team working cross-functionally to identify and highlight key issues in a dynamic environment, facing exciting new challenges daily. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, patience, and a real passion for product usability.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer in Test or Software Quality Engineer
2+ years as a Software Quality Engineering Manager or acting lead for the team
Deep understanding of SQA methodologies, processes, tools and CI/CD pipelines
Strong leadership skills to work with cross functional partners
Strong test experience with UI/UX testing and front end SW applications
Strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills
Team Builder: Proven track record demonstrating the ability to attract, hire, motivate and develop the best engineers
Technically Agile: Ready to deep dive into technical areas when needed but also discuss these topics to a non-technical audience
Priority Driven: At ease working in a continually changing, dynamic environment and driving top issues to resolution
Exec Presence: Ability to summarize key points and tie them back to the customer experience
Customer Focused: Passionate about user-focused design, high-quality applications, and what we can do to improve it
Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results
Description(岗位职责)
The ideal person for this role is a passionate leader and manager, able to communicate at a high level, but dive into technical details with your team and key partners or leaders. You’ll manage a talented and diverse team to design, build, and deploy manual and automated tests and tools for software and/or hardware. You’ll need to be comfortable measuring the difficult-to-measure, developing and qualifying customer-focused flows and ensuring system-level quality. Your leadership skills will drive communication across multiple organizations and cultivate growth within your team. You’ll be comfortable developing, managing and/or performing product or feature demo—and presenting in front of senior leaders.
