Summary（岗位介绍）
We’re looking for a high-energy, highly motivated Senior SRE that will be a key member of the SW Infra & Tools team within the Imaging and Sensing organization, which is responsible for developing depth, photography & AR/VR related solutions and use cases. As part of the team’s responsibility, we also develop and manage MLOps tools.
The role would be a senior-level position with broad responsibility for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of the team’s cloud-based web applications as well as smaller scale in-house and on-premise compute solutions and resources. In addition to the SRE responsibilities, this role will also include some tasks typically associated with MLOps roles. The Senior SRE will work in collaboration with other SRE teams in the organization to apply solutions or processes already available in other teams and will have supervision over another DevOps engineer in the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Migrate the team’s web applications to the cloud
Implement maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues
Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks and conduct performance testing and optimizations
Automate deployment, scaling, and management of the team’s web applications while using infrastructure-as-code methodologies and tools
Develop and maintain documentation on processes, procedures, and standard methodologies
Writing code and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) to maintain and provision production/staging/development environments
Qualifications（岗位要求）
7+ years of experience in similar roles
5+ years supporting large scale in production applications in an SRE role
Strong experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS
Practical real-world experience with containerization, virtualization & orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with configuration management & infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic.
Proficiency in Python and Bash
Experience with large data systems and both relational, columnar and analytical databases
Knowledge in networking protocols & technologies such as TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, CDNs is highly desirable
Proven understanding of Linux (macOS knowledge is a plus)
Experience with machine learning and data science tools is a plus
Excellent communication (verbal & written) and collaboration skills
Organized and detail oriented

The Imaging and Sensing group at Apple develops algorithms for scene understanding and depth sensing using active (e.g Lidar and True Depth cameras) and passive (e.g Monocular and Stereo RGB cameras) sensors for enabling features for Photography, AR, and more. This multi-disciplinary group of engineers is responsible for research, architecture, design, and development of future Apple products and technologies.
