The Meta Reality Labs group brings together world-class experts to develop groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software and content. We are building tools and experiences that make people feel closer together in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).

We are looking for an experienced marketing leader to lead Reality Labs marketing in Japan. You will join the global Reality Labs marketing team that creates integrated marketing strategy and campaigns to build our brands and drive sales.

This person will be responsible for developing distinctive, effective and integrated consumer

marketing that builds our brand for VR and accelerates the growth of our business in Japan. They will be the face of our VR brand and business both internally and externally.

Our ideal candidate is a passionate marketer, enthusiastic about new technology, with strong strategic and creative instincts. They will have had experience lading marketing in Japan within Global brands/companies, setting commercially-oriented marketing goals and strategy, building marketing plans, launching successful integrated marketing campaigns, leading internal teams and agencies, and demonstrating the value of marketing investment to drive the business.

Additionally, they are a highly effective communicator and collaborator with other teams, including US-based and regional marketing, sales, creative, comms, analytics, and growth teams.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

10+ years experience in marketing for consumer-facing brand(s) in Japan

3+ years experience leading a marketing team for consumer-facing brand(s) in Japan

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams, either formally through reporting structure or informally through influence

Proven experience developing bold, breakthrough integrated marketing campaigns that drove measurable results at a local or regional level

Effective and inspiring partner to creative agencies in developing stand-out marketing communications

Proven track-record partnering with business units (e.g. sales) to drive short/long term business results through marketing

Strong communicator, able to clearly articulate marketing’s role in driving the business and comfortable synthesizing consumer insights into actionable strategy

Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving and ever changing, environment

Fluent in English and Japanese

Ability to travel (10-20% of time, US, UK)

Bachelor’s degree

Description(岗位职责)

Drive adoption of Meta Quest hardware / content, and build the long-term health of our brand in Japan.

Provide leadership and coordination of all Reality Labs marketing in Japan, and represent the needs of the market with senior leadership across the company.

Direct integrated marketing strategy, plans, and execution.

Cultivate strong working relationships with internal teams, including Global and Regional marketing teams, product marketing, analytics, insights, comms, sales, and growth.

Lead the relationship with external agency partners in the development of world class marketing strategy, creative, and media (in partnership with internal creative and media teams).

Communicate effectively with leaders, stakeholders, and teams driving transparency, coordination, and alignment around marketing plans and needs.

Partner with insights and analytics teams to create data-driven campaigns with clear goals and measurement, informed by consumer insights and market dynamics.
