Meta Reality Labs is looking for an exceptional Channel Marketing Associate to take on the role of Channel Marketing Associate for North American retail. This role will be responsible for driving our marketing activities with our third-party retail partners in partnership with Channel Marketing Management and Channel leadership. The associate should have experience with North American regional retail partners such as AAFES, B&H, Microcenter and Newegg (to only name a few). The role will report into the Head of Channel Marketing for VR. The associate will deliver plans that stay within retail/channel marketing budgets, while executing experiential programs, customer acquisition and retention, and measurement while continually improving our toolset and processes to meet our goals.

This role requires a channel marketer that has executing channel marketing activities and OPEX investments. Requirements include: An understanding of retail marketing levers that drive traffic in-store and online. Experience measuring those investments to include CPC (Cost per Conversion), CPA (Cost per Acquisition), LTV (Lifetime Value) and ROAS (Return on Advertising Spend). Experience working with retail partners building in-store experiences through permanent fixtures, temporary displays, staff training and education. This Channel Marketing Associate will push the boundaries with creative and innovative ideas to deliver the best retail/consumer experience for our products. Finally, this teammate will embody and will live the values and culture that is Meta.

Successful candidates at Meta lead with influence before title and communicate easily across functions and levels of the team. You will need to be at home in a fast-paced environment with democratized information and working across Meta Product Management, Business Development, Marketing, and Operations teams and at the same time, working with our customer’s cross functional leadership teams.


2+ years of experience in a Retail Channel Marketing/Project Management role

Understanding of how Regional Retailers measure and manage their businesses

Experience maintaining co-marketing and OPEX budgets with fiscal responsibility

Experience managing conflict. Experience navigating issues between stakeholders swiftly in order to maintain a positive team spirit that is consistent with Meta values

Experience navigating various organizational environments where culture and structure varies


Execute go to market North American retail channel marketing strategy. Focus on building programs that optimize awareness, trial and conversion and retention of Virtual Reality/Metaverse

Execute marketing and merchandising initiatives with NA regional retail partners within agreed upon budgets and KPIs

Continuously measure, manage and optimize marketing programs to drive efficiency recommending tools development and processes as necessary to achieve these goals

Oversight of channel co-marketing and OPEX budget, focusing on performance and delivering against agreed upon metrics

Manage content & campaign activities across retailers ensuring our content meets brand standards and is in service of overall Meta strategy

Innovating and partnering. Identify new channel marketing opportunities in NA and in partnership with other Meta Reality Labs geographic leaders and position these opportunities for review to drive to a decision

Coordinate and manage marketing brand assets and deliver those asset requests on time to our Creative teams, while following up and executing/delivering those brand assets to our NA retail partners

Deliver and receive feedback on both sales/marketing metrics and personal performance
