We are currently seeking an experienced leader who has extensive experience in developing advanced assembly and test solutions for high-volume imaging products. You will guide and grow a team of engineers that develop and productize innovative technologies which can be scaled for high-volume, cost-efficient production, enabling us to redefine how people connect, play, and work.
You must be comfortable working in a dynamic cross-functional team, collaborating with third-parties and exhibit excellent interpersonal communication skills. You are deeply familiar with state of the art developments in the cameras and depth consumer space, you thrive in providing strong and visionary leadership to your team, enhancing and developing a high performing organization, and you drive a culture of trust, collaboration, and innovation.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fields with 15+ years of working experience, or graduate degree in these fields with 10+ years of working experience.
10+ years of people management experience in consumer electronics or relevant product development.
Proven communication and interpersonal skills to work across teams.
Extensive work experience and knowledge in hardware engineering, optics, and specifically in consumer-cameras-related product/technology development and productization.
In-depth knowledge of backend technologies and processes.
Hands-on experience working with high-volume subcontract manufacturers.
interest for advancing the imaging and depth cameras for consumer products.
Description（岗位职责）
Lead the definition of Camera & Depth productization NorthStars for Meta’s Cameras & Depth product lines
Provide team leadership, guidance, feedback, coaching and mentoring. Advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion within the team
Work closely with cross functional teams in Reality Labs’ Technology Engineering Devices organization, as well as the Operations team, to ensure alignment on priorities and milestones for strong execution on deliverables, and a steady stream of improved performance
Lead the definition of high-volume camera and depth test programs and hardware
Oversee the design and prototyping of backend technologies for the miniaturization and integration of optical and electrical components of camera and depth modules
Provide team leadership, guidance, feedback, coaching and mentoring. Advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion within the team
Create career development plans, manage performance, create performance reviews, and recruit leaders and engineers and scientists
Work closely with cross functional teams in Reality Labs’ Technology Engineering Devices organization, as well as the Operations team, to ensure alignment on priorities and milestones for strong execution on deliverables, and a steady stream of improved performance
Fine tune the org structure, initiate needed processes as needed, support planning activities
Identify, manage and lead relationships and partnerships with third parties to ensure efficient collaborations on leading-edge technologies and services, such as in IC and optical assemblies
Maintain a knowledge of the key industry and academic players, as well as industry trends and disruptive technologies. Assess and recommend emerging technologies through close partnership with external, industry leading suppliers
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Familiarity with industry trends in photographic imaging features in the market.
General understanding of optical design as well as camera and depth fundamentals.
Experience managing DFM/DFT, Failure Analysis, Statistical Process Control, and related programs.
