– Experience developing UI automation, preferably in Apple frameworks such as XCTest
Strong objective oriented programming skills preferably in Python, Swift.
Application development experience in apple ecosystem is a Plus
Excellent analytical, programming and debugging skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to identify the gaps in the existing automation test cases and close them with long-term focus in mind.
Familiarity with iOS, Mac OS X, and Unix
Upbeat, adaptable, and results oriented with a positive attitude
We are looking for a Quality Automation Engineer who can work and contribute towards the automation and testing of Apple Media technologies in the TDG Media QA team. In this role, you will develop and maintain automation using python and Swift frameworks and execute tests for new Media features using an understanding of network and media streaming technologies. You will work very closely with development and cross-functional teams to ensure Media Playback and experience quality and performance is of the highest level. You will cover a broad span of test areas involving functional, performance, and reliability testing. Responsibilities of this role will include manual and automated testing, writing automated test cases, triage of issues, reporting on project progress, and risk analysis.
Knowledge of Apple Platform development using Xcode, Swift, and Objective C preferred
Experience with testing consumer electronics, mobile applications and experiences
Working knowledge of iOS/OS/WatchOS or other Apple ecosystem products
