Reality Labs is seeking a Facility and Operations Manager to join their Display and Optics Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the operations of our facility, including day-to-day activities, logistics, and lab operations.


3+ years of Lab and Facility management experience including 1+ years of cleanroom management.

Experience with managing direct reports and contractors.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment and in both early stages of growth and sustaining operations.

Experience customizing business and management systems to fit the team needs.

Experience communicating and collaborate with direct reports, peers, managers and cross functional teams.

Experience in understanding of IT systems at a sufficient level to manage the resource supporting the function.


Setup, manage and create the safest, state-of-the-art thin-film-optics engineering lab spaces and provide hands-on support as needed.

Work with multiple lab equipment and support vendors and cross-functional team partners to sustain, improve and grow our lab, cleanroom and office operations.

Drive the tactical needs and implement the vision for the facility and lab operation and growth.

Work with vendor managed service providers and internal team to determine KPIs deliverables for each team and function. Support delivery and achievement of KPIs by partnering and supporting with contract workers and vendor organizations.

Work with cross-functional team members to execute on the above including methods, procedures, and data management.

Directly manage contract workers and vendor managed services to include shipping & receiving, inventory management, office management, facility maintenance, IT and others that are both on-site or remote, dedicated support or fractional resources. Total estimated direct reports of 4-8 people.

Fully understand requirements from engineers and technical managers on site so you can ensure facility operations including all above scope are aligned and prepared to support and deliver capabilities for engineering customers.

Optical lab management or lab management experience in semiconductors or other related fields.

10+ years of facility management experience.

Experience managing contract workers and direct full-time reports.

Experience with supply chain management and vendor managed inventory.
