Meta’s Augmented Reality (AR) team is driving the state-of-the-art forward with breakthrough work in mixed reality displays, computer vision, machine learning, graphics, and sensors. We create new, category-defining consumer hardware and software that are immersive, social, and increase the depth of people’s connections.
As the Display and Optics team, our role is to move these AR displays out of research and into the hands of our customers. We believe the only way to achieve our aggressive goals is to look at the entire system architecture from silicon, through firmware and hardware subsystems, to system level performance.
As a Electrical Design Verification Engineer (DVE) within Meta Reality Labs Display and Optics team, you will help assure Meta delivers high quality augmented reality displays to our customers. You will collaborate with a cross-disciplinary engineering team (electrical, firmware, mechanical, optical) as well as with partners and vendors. You will be responsible for validating the electrical aspects of AR displays and optical elements. You will work closely with researchers, architects, and designers in architecting our method of electrical verification for multiple state-of-the-art systems. You will use your verification skills to define verification requirements, create test cases, design and implement the testing infrastructure, execute the testing, and report the results for the new product designs.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
B.S. Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering and 2+ years experience (or equivalent)
Knowledge of board level verification
Self-motivated with an experience being a team player
Experience with definition and execution of verification requirements
Experience owning significant areas of product verification
Description（岗位职责）
Define electrical verification methodologies for display modules by working with researchers, architects, and the design teams
Define and track detailed test plans for the different modules and top level systems
Define and drive implementation of scalable test infrastructure
Keep track of coverage metrics and bugs encountered and fixed
Own execution, interpretation, and reporting of electrical system level verification work status and results
Support system bring up and debug activities
Clearly communicate test plans and results
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Board level verification and debugging experience
Background in optics and/or display technologies
Firmware verification experience
Python development experience
Experience with definition, architecture, design, and driving implementation of test automation
