Meta Reality Labs is seeking a Program Manager to help us unleash human potential by eliminating the bottlenecks between intent and action. To achieve this, we’re building a practical neural interface drawing on the rich motor neuron signals that can be measured non-invasively with neuron-level resolution. This is achieved via EMG (Electromyography) sensors worn on the wrist. Our research and product work lies at the intersection of computational neuroscience, machine learning, signal processing, statistics, biophysics, motor learning, perceptual psychophysics, and human-computer interaction. We’re looking for people who want to shape the future of this technology and are excited about joining our collaborative team.
As a Program Manager focused on EMG (Electromyography) Devices, you’ll manage the processes, operations, support, and logistics required to get various EMG HW prototypes where they need to go. You’ll also be responsible for managing HW requests, an inventory of devices, and everything involved with allocation of our HW assets to enable the maximum impact for our data collection teams, research, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual with a passion for efficiency, process implementation, and internal customer experience.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
5+ years project/program management experience
Experience managing allocation of high value physical assets across multiple geographic locations
Experience creating processes for management of high value physical assets
Experience providing technical setup support for first of its kind prototype hardware to non-technical users
Description（岗位职责）
Manage, distribute, and intake inventory of EMG devices
Develop processes to intake requests and allocate device to various needs
Identify and implement opportunities to improve device management, distribution, update, and troubleshooting processes
Understand the team’s overall objectives, how they ladder up to broader organization goals, and how to best enable them
Manage tradeoffs in allocation based on department-wide goals
Provide technical support for setup of EMG devices
Manage cross-functional collaboration and communication internally and externally, to ensure teams have what they need and can work efficiently
Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Bachelor’s Degree in technical field such as engineering, biology, etc.
MBA
Experience working in consumer electronic devices
Experience working with research oriented teams in any of: EMG, Neuroscience, biomedical components and systems
