At Meta, we’re developing the future of the Metaverse. The displays and optics team based in Cork, Ireland is dedicated to developing display hardware components for Meta’s AR and VR products.
The Leadership team is seeking to recruit a Senior Product Tech Integration to their ranks. The candidate will have a proven track record in Display roadmap direction/strategy setting coupled with excellent oral and written communications at Executive Leadership to influence and guide product execution through Product Development Process (PDP). The role will involve working with our XFN partners to manage and influence key product decisions including pathways to trade-offs, mitigations, and escalations with respect to product specifications and timelines.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Deep, expert level, industry-leading experience in Display Technologies
Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Micro-electronics, Physics, Electronic Engineering, Material Science or related field.
Deep Industry Display benchmark knowledge and known reputation as leader within the industry in order to leverage understanding and competitive edge.
Deep understanding of product requirements to help translate broader perspective to retrospective teams.
Effective understanding of complex designs and processing challenges and an ability to effectively communicate technical information (written and verbal).
Proven ability to form partnerships and work effectively across discipline/company and is able to proactively solicits and seeks XRN partnership feedback to address and solve product challenges.
Description（岗位职责）
Product Technical Integration through PDP (Product Development Process) involving product strategy and direction.
Responsible for codeveloping and reporting our strategic technical direction and roadmaps. Be an effective communicator written and oral to uplevel and distill communications reliably and consistently up, down and across the Meta Reality Labs organisation.
Drive technical and operational wins by proactive detecting challenges and seeking out effective solutions.
Drive effective peer relationships that lead to rapid decision making, prioritization calls to improve overall engineering excellence.
Drive sustainable peer relationships to collaborate and align on strategy, risks and trade-offs coupled with an excellent ability to raise the quality technologies, designs, and business decisions.
Develop a technical leadership brand that peer Management can respect and trust to drive sustained and improved levels of performance within teams.
Strategically invests in efforts to improve product quality and engineering efficiency
Active influencing the design of the strategy and shaping of the overall technical direction, roadmap and program plans.
Supporting teams to debug extremely difficult technical problems.
Deliver consistently large impact and value that drives higher levels of engineering performance and operational excellence.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Background in LED or micro-LED processing (not essential)
Deep passion for problem solving and technical debugging
Interest and capability in coaching and growing mid and senior engineers
