Summary（岗位介绍）
We are looking for a Public Policy expert who can combine a passion for innovative products and services such as virtual / augmented reality and social media with a deep knowledge of the political and regulatory environment, dynamics and stakeholders in Germany. Successful applicants will become part of a thriving team that is dealing with some of the most interesting public policy issues of our times including the future of the internet, the metaverse, responsible innovation, virtual & augmented reality, AI, privacy, sustainability, E-Commerce, and the impact of social media and the Metaverse on economic growth.
This role will be based in Berlin, Germany.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
A passionate belief in the social and economic benefits of the Internet and Meta and its products in particular
A track record of writing and delivering position papers, articles, speeches, and presentations on relevant topics
A flexible mindset that thrives in a fast-moving environment
An ability to work with cross-functional teams from a wide range of disciplines
Significant experience working on relevant policy issues – candidates with both government/politics and industry experience strongly preferred
Excellent communication skills for both small meetings and large events
Full fluency in German and superb written and spoken English required
A Master degree in Political Science, Law or related field
An ability to translate between the specialist languages of technology and politics
Familiarity with working with politicians and government officials including those at the most senior levels and ability to grasp complex technical and policy issues
Description（岗位职责）
Support the development and execution of strategies to achieve company goals in public policy
Monitor legislation and regulatory matters affecting Meta in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and advise the company with respect to policy challenges
Represent Meta in meetings with government officials and elected members of parliament
Develop public policy positions together with other teams at Meta
Help build coalitions with other organizations to advance policy goals of Meta
Communicate Meta’s positions in public presentations
Advise Meta teams on public policy matters to guide development of products, services and policies
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Detailed knowledge of the Metaverse, virtual and augmented reality are a further advantage
