Summary(岗位介绍)

You are a talented Art Lead with experience creating environments for multiplayer games on a variety of platforms. You have a strong visual and compositional sense as well as a deep understanding of the tradeoffs required to support gameplay and performance. The ideal candidate is looking for an opportunity to manage and help build a growing team of environment artists while also contributing to production of game assets that set the bar.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

Proven high proficiency with Photoshop, Maya/Max, Substance Designer, and Substance Painter.

Experience working across disciplines to balance the needs of stakeholders, and break down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas.

2+ years of experience as a people manager on an art team.

Experience in both giving and receiving creative and technical critique.

A professional portfolio that demonstrates a breadth of both technical and artistic execution of Environment Art.

5+ years experience as an Environment Artist in high and low resolution modeling and world building/layout.

Experience creating environments with both custom and modular assets.

Hands-on experience with game engines such as Unreal, Unity, or equivalent experience.

Experience working in real-time game engines and solid understanding of optimization for memory and framerate.

Description(岗位职责)

Manage and mentor a team of artists guiding them through critique, training and team building, refinements of process and techniques.

Lead by example by creating art assets that set the bar at each phase, from ideation, to pre-production, to execution and release.

Inspire the environment team to be passionate and ambitious in their work.

Work with producers and leads to manage day-to-day priorities, progress, and delivery for the project’s recurring content releases.

Drive review processes with the team and key stakeholders.

Maintain and manage the consistency of quality and timely delivery for the team’s work.

Closely collaborate with the graphics team to identify new techniques and approaches to content creation to continually push the quality and fidelity possible in our product.

Work closely with technical artists and engineers to implement asset standards and innovations. Work with artists to enforce and maintain those standards.

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

A love for VR shooters.

Experience with Perforce and/or Git.

Experience designing and building assets and levels for games in virtual reality.

Experience leading outsourced art teams.
