The Partnership Management Team in Apple’s Worldwide Developer Relations group is seeking an agile, upbeat, and highly motivated manager to engage developers across 3D Creative Pro ecosystems: virtual production, game development, visual effects, AR/VR, industrial design, CAD, AEC as well as plugin developers that are important to our creative pro efforts on Mac and iOS platforms. The role also interfaces cross functionally with peers across App Store categories who may have developers with dependencies on 3D ecosystem developers.
5-10+ years experience with Media and Entertainment in the product management / marketing / account management / relationship management space
Product management experience in the creative pro segment is helpful
Knowledge of Mac/Windows/Linux development processes, developer support programs, and related marketing activities
Agile professional who is comfortable working with ambiguity
Production experience in any creative pro workflow involving 3D, game, film or video production is a plus
Experience leading production of UI/UX experiences highly desirable
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, ability to deliver impactful presentations
Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization from individual contributors to executives
This role is responsible for working as a 3rd Party Product Manager with internal cross-functional teams and third-party developers to build strategic products on Apple platforms. Establish relationships to efficiently deliver Apple’s message to developers while championing developer needs and issues within Apple. This individual will ensure the continued delivery of world-class third-party solutions for Apple platforms.
Work internally to shape developer policies and provide direct input to leadership on developer insights, business model challenges and platform feature adoption.
Provide fresh perspectives as a creative problem solver with a keen attention to detail and follow-through.
Focus on strategic agendas while keeping day-to-day job activities current.
Collaborate with Partnership Management, Technology Evangelism, Worldwide Product Marketing, App Store, Engineering, Retail, Enterprise Sales, Education Markets, and Education Sales.
Maintain a high level of business expertise, combined with a strong understanding of the tools and technologies relevant to mobile app development.
Promote the adoption of the macOS, iPadOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs, and other development tools with third-party app developers.
Attend appropriate industry events to stay abreast of segment trends and to capitalize on outreach opportunities.
Maintain a deep understanding of partner products, development pipelines, market dynamics and business strategy to deliver solutions to enhance Apple’s platforms.
Clearly communicate approved Apple product and marketing messages where appropriate.
