Join the adventure of a lifetime as we make science fiction real and change the world. We’re looking for a Software Engineer interested in working near the intersection of AR hardware and software. Your primary area of responsibilities will be on roadmapping, designing and developing an augmented reality graphics prototype vehicle based on Linux and Windows host software emulation. Your work will accelerate the AR product organization’s development velocity by enabling re-use of graphics software from prototype to custom silicon-based end product. Beyond graphics, you’ll then tackle accelerating AR computer vision and custom sensor development. Come help us build the Metaverse!


Experience working with hardware and setting up and configuring non-form factor development boards with exposed electronic components

Understanding embedded systems and hardware

Experience with developing Linux or Windows drivers

Experience in system design, communication, and code review

Experience with producing high quality code with test coverage, using modern abstractions and frameworks

Experience with performance analysis system level optimization

Experience with cross multi-disciplinary boundaries to drive system solutions

6+ years experience delivering performant solutions for resource/memory constrained devices or systems

B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

6+ years of experience creating PC applications that interface with hardware systems or standalone PC application on Linux and Windows

Experience with software design and programming in C, C++ or Python, Rust

2+ years of experience with any of the following: real-time low-latency sensor processing, Linux and Windows kernel-level and user space device drivers, ARM based processors and microcontrollers and various communications protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S, et. or GPU-based development and optimization techniques


Roadmapping, designing and developing a graphics prototype based on Linux and Windows host software emulation

Accelerate the AR product organization’s development velocity by enabling re-use of graphics software from prototype to custom silicon platforms

Accelerating AR computer vision and custom sensor development

Analyze, design, develop, and debug firmware and system software for a wide variety of AR and VR consumer devices, including novel sensing and imaging systems, haptic devices, and audio prototypes

Understand and implement power-management, boot loaders, scheduling, and RTOS based solutions

Collaborate in a team environment across multiple product focused, research, and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver firmware solutions

Support all phases of SoC/ASIC development – including early architecture requirements definition for custom silicon, firmware architecture, implementation, simulation, FPGA debug, chip bring up and support systems and software teams on algorithm development on validated systems

Understand and drive implementation of good FW development practices across teams and projects

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

Experience with EDA design tools and instruction set simulators

Experience in Rust, Open GL, Open CL, Cuda

Experience with protocol implementations such as USB device classes (UVC, UAC, HID)

Experience with peripherals such as USB, SPI, MIPI CSI/DSI, I2C, UART, GPIO etc.

Experience with FPGA and vendor specific hardware evaluation boards

Experience with graphics or computer vision algorithm development

Experience with embedded DSP and CPU architectures
