At Meta Reality Labs (RL), we’re building user-friendly devices and experiences that make people feel closer. This includes product groups for Metaverse, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Home & Work, along with research and development labs and artificial intelligence teams.

Reality Labs is looking for a strategic business planning & operations leader to serve as our Director of Strategy & Operations, Product Operations. This is a critical leadership role on Reality Labs’ Product Operations team, which is responsible for holistic go-to-market, core operations and business results for all Reality Labs products and platforms, functionally spanning Product Marketing, Sales, Analytics, Privacy, Marketing, Partnerships, Communications, Policy, Legal, Corporate Development, and DE&I.

This leader will be responsible for developing and operationalizing a unified strategic business plan for Product Operations in support of Reality Labs, including bi-annual plans, headcount and budget planning and management, business reviews, strategic insights and operational leadership to ensure the organization executes against its top priorities. They will partner closely with the Product Operations senior leadership team and other Reality Labs leaders to provide holistic business understanding and enable action on key opportunities. They will facilitate visibility and input into resource allocation, serve as point of contact for special Meta and Reality Labs-wide projects and work with a wide variety of cross-functional stakeholders across Reality Labs and Meta.

The Director of Strategy & Operations will report directly to the Vice President of Product Operations, Reality Labs.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

15+ years of strategic planning and operating experience within technology, consumer products or adjacent industries

10+ years of experience with team leadership, people management and cross-functional team leadership

Experience forging relationships with product and other cross-functional teams, advising c-suite leaders and key stakeholders across large-scale, global companies

Leadership experience in a global role and knowledge of diverse cultural, social and business landscapes

Experience influencing and leading strategies across multiple lines of business and matrixed teams

Experience identifying and analyzing complex, long term, critical problems facing the relevant areas of the business and driving solutions for them

Experience leading, managing, developing and motivating a diverse team across geographical regions. Experience building high performing, inclusive teams

Experience working in a highly collaborative manner across a variety of business functions and geographies

Experience creating a vision, setting direction of strategy and ensuring delivery though impactful, scaled programs

BA/BS Degree

Description(岗位职责)

Build and lead a governance and reporting capability that drives transparency into our operations, and enables proper prioritization and resource allocation, clear evaluation of trade-offs, strong execution, innovation and efficiency across Product Operations in support of Reality Labs

Establish and lead a team of Planning & Operations Managers

Lead bi-annual planning processes and recurring business reviews spanning all Product Operations functions to enable coordinated decision-making and action across the organization

Empower and enable Product Operations functional leadership – including Product Marketing, Analytics, Sales, Privacy, Marketing, Partnerships, Finance, HR and more – by collaboratively partnering to build and operationalize organizational-wide strategic plans in conjunction with their business processes, areas of focus and key priorities

Optimize the rhythms of the business, cadences and reviews to allow free flow of information and communication across Product Ops teams

Partner with Reality Labs’ Product Group leads and teams to integrate Product Operations strategic plans with product-specific plans and priorities

Proactively identify the largest opportunities and problems impacting the organization’s execution, and advise on trade off and dependencies in order to influence Reality Labs’ overall investment and business strategy

Serve as primary point of contact to lead special initiatives and projects across Reality Labs and Meta

Deepen cross Reality Labs collaboration across Product Operations, Product and Meta Family of App teams (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp)

Model inclusive behaviors and build a diverse organization that values, respects, and taps into different backgrounds and perspectives

Consistently build strong internal partnerships, influence through others, resolve conflict, build alignment, and work effectively across teams to execute strategy

Experience leading planning & operations for similar functions such as sales, marketing, analytics or privacy

Experience launching, growing and sustaining consumer hardware and software products

MBA

Consulting, investment banking or finance experience

Experience in a fast-paced, high growth, and entrepreneurial environment
