The focus of our team is image sensor technology development across all of Meta’s product platforms. We develop platforms that optimize for low-power, miniaturization, dual functionality, and performance along axes unique to Meta’s vision.
We are looking for an Image Sensors Manager that will lead the FPGA and validation of leading edge image/depth sensors into our AR/VR product. Their work scope will span OTS image sensors, semi-custom sensors, fully custom sensors, and advanced sensor technologies.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
7+ years of industry work experience in image sensor or camera, plus 2+ years of people management
Experience developing CMOS image sensors for high volume production
First-hand knowledge of image sensor validation, FPGA and FW
Experience supporting timely communication with cross functional partners and internal stakeholders
Description（岗位职责）
Lead and grow a diverse team of experienced validation, FPGA and FW engineers with image sensor expertise to address the unique challenges of AR/VR and wearable devices
Drive and develop methodologies for internally and externally validating systems, including hardware simulations (FPGA, emulation) and sensor evaluation hardware
Develop framework, metrics, and dashboards to measure team productivity and cross functional partners and external vendors
Work closely with cross functional partners (camera team, depth team, system team and TPM) of ongoing AR/VR products to highlight key sensor issues, to identify solutions to enable builds, to propose and support rapid prototyping for next generation improvement
Support timely communication with cross functional partners and internal stakeholders
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience of image sensor/depth sensor development
Familiar with image sensor architecture, ISP and SOC
Experience managing suppliers and supplier contracts, budgets, and headcount, and acquiring equipment and licenses
Proven people management skills, with experience hiring and growing a team of talented leaders and individuals
Proven communication and analytical skills, including experience identifying and solving ambiguous problems
MS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
