Summary(岗位介绍)
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Research Engineer to join our team, whose mission is to work with a range of multidisciplinary research to advance the state of the art for wearable interaction devices. We are specifically looking for a candidate with systems-level knowledge in novel polymeric materials with experience building custom hardware to support processing for wearables applications. More broadly, the chosen candidate will work with a diverse and highly interdisciplinary team of researchers, designers, and engineers, and will have access to cutting edge technology, resources, and testing facilities.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
M.S. or Ph.D. in a field related to polymer and materials science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.
5+ years experience in MEMs fabrication and design (or similar semiconductor processes)
5+ years experience with polymer based formulations for printing, bonding, lamination, etc.
5+ years experience working on process integration (novel materials + process)
5+ years experience with additively manufactured tools/tool modifications
Description(岗位职责)
Frame, scope, plan, and execute novel material synthesis and fabrication in given form factors
Work with researchers, designers, engineers, and other roles, to drive solutions that enable building finely features structures and devices
Connect and drive collaborations with vendors, academic, and industry labs to advance research in relevant areas
Thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and cross-disciplinary environment
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
2+ years experience working flexible or wearable electronics
Track record of delivering cutting edge technology in an industrial research environment
Track record of leading projects and teams and delivering research or product prototypes in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
2+ years experience working with manufacturing scale textile equipment
2+ years experience working on mechanical or electrical research for textiles
