Summary（岗位介绍）
Oculus packaging team develops packaging to showcase our hardware products that make it easier for people to connect with the ones they love most. The packaging team has the responsibility for taking cross-functional inputs to design, develop, and deliver product packaging at scale. We seek a Technical Program Manager who has a strong engineering background and can be our eyes and ears on the ground to jump in and help us solve problems. We are looking for a slightly impatient individual willing to face down their fear of failure to accomplish bold things. This is a full-time position based in our Shanghai office.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS or MS in packaging/mechanical engineering or 3+ years packaging engineering experience
Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin required
Knowledgeable in how to drive complex EXPs and component build matrixes
Description（岗位职责）
Partner with our contract manufacturers to validate packaging assembly processes from finished goods box to pallet level
Assist in failure analysis for packaging reliability, documenting and reporting issues back to the cross-functional team
Drive technical issue resolution on the packout line and at suppliers. Ensure materials are built correctly and meet specification.
Support the engineering and tooling team by driving tooling DFM’s and tooling approvals
Responsible for supporting packaging Post Ramp Qualification activities such as additional country expansion, qualifying new suppliers or manufacturing locations
Track schedule, build readiness, DOEs/EXPs, and FAI/CPK qualification schedule at multiple packaging vendors & CM’s
Frequent travel within Mainland China with some travel to broader APAC region and US
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
2+ years of program management experience in the packaging industry
5+ years experience as a packaging engineer
Expertise driving press-check artwork qualification
