Summary（岗位介绍）
As a Product Systems Validation Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of leads and engineers to deliver results from multiple areas of the product stack including systems integration functional testing, systems bring-up testing, sensor validation, EE/PD/FW functional testing, and new feature testing. You and your team will work across multiple domains including coexistence, stress, power, audio, display, camera, connectivity, etc. You will also have the opportunity to organize validation efforts efficiently, report status to the broader cross functional team, and provide leadership guidance on the product from a data-driven approach.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of work experience in systems validation or systems engineering for consumer electronics products.
5+ years of management experience in systems validation, design engineering, or systems engineering for consumer electronics products.
Experience in consumer electronics or related fields, with understanding of overall hardware system architecture common to consumer electronics products.
Understanding of system development and verification testing methods and concepts for full-stack systems validation of devices.
Interpersonal skills and experience indirectly managing and driving various cross-functional team members (EE, SW, RF, Audio, PD, etc.).
Description（岗位职责）
Manage and coach a team of systems validation leads and engineers and define direction/strategy for the team
Manage engineering leads across hardware and performance characterization by providing direction on comprehensive test plans for each program at every phase
Manage as necessary third-party vendors in designing, building, and developing test systems
Lead functional technology groups and drive cross-functional decisions on validation development, coverage and architecture
Manage new technology validation and strategy with internal cross-functional teams
Use data to provide feedback to design and leadership teams with a data-driven approach to decision making
Manage alignment of validation and characterization plans by closely working with product teams such as Systems Integration Leads and EE/PD/FW design teams
Manage the team’s progress on tracking validation progress, present data, draft whitepapers, and represent status at milestone reviews
Plan and budget lab equipment needs to ensure we have the capability to measure and debug all interfaces and technologies
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Master of Science or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
7+ years of work experience in systems validation or systems engineering for consumer electronics products.
7+ years of management experience in systems validation, design engineering, or systems engineering for consumer electronics products.
Understanding of system development and verification testing methods and concepts for full-stack systems validation of devices.
Experience with managing a team of engineers around setting up, handling stability test racks and test campaigns.
Experience managing vendors and knowledge of state-of-the-art test equipment.
Experience managing lab equipment selection and budgeting to support next-generation interface protocols.
