The Reality Labs (RL) team focuses on delivering Meta's vision through Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) building products that make it easier for people to connect with the ones they love most. We are a team of world-class experts developing and shipping products at the intersection of hardware, software, and content.
The Supply Planner organizes factory capacity, factory scheduling, and leads the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for their products. This is a high-impact role that suits people who enjoy complex problem solving, cross-functional interactions, and hold a tenacious passion for doing “what it takes”. The position involves steering all stages of inventory planning from New Product Introduction (NPI), to sustaining production through to End of Life (EOL) for their products.
We are seeking individuals who are military veterans at all levels to work with a world-class group of supply chain specialists. Military spouses may also apply.
This is a 12-month program with the Reality Labs team. Once the program concludes, those who have demonstrated their abilities to succeed and make an impact at Meta will be considered for a full-time position.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent operational experience.
1+ years experience in Supply Chain Planning roles - logistics, fulfillment, spare parts replenishment etc.
Experience in scenario modeling and building data models with data sets.
Experience with spreadsheets and presentation software.
Communication and collaborative skills.
Experience prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Proven sense of urgency, accuracy, and follow-through.
Military Veteran, transitioning Service Member, or military spouse.
Description(岗位职责)
Supports supply planning and product availability for the products in their portfolio.
Develops tactical, capacity/material constrained production plans to fulfill the requirements created in the Demand Plan.
Understands the demand signals for their products and provides actionable supply recommendations to respond/adjust trends.
Maintains inventory plans for finished goods across global warehouses considering operational and fulfillment service policies, financial targets and cost-effective transportation considerations.
Supports the weekly S&OP process for assigned products, including participating in the meetings and providing information to cross functional teams to support supply and demand planning objectives.
Accountable for creating, communicating and monitoring detailed requested Ship Plans at the contract manufacturing sites (forecast, commits, build plans, PO creation, E&O planning).
Accountable for the identification and resolution of supply issues.
Develops and manages inbound and outbound priorities, allocations, and backlog resolution.
Monitors supply chain key performance indicators (KPI) associated with the assigned product portfolio.
