Summary(岗位介绍)

Ready At Dawn is looking for a Senior UI Technical Designer to join us in creating and maintaining high profile titles in the VR space.

The UI Technical Designer collaborates with UX/UI, design, engineering, and production teams.

You will be responsible for building new features by designing, implementing, maintaining and evolving user interface systems and features.

An ideal candidate is a self-starting problem-solver with strong skills in design and communication, as well as significant comfortability with technical workflows (e.g. scripting).

For the senior role, we are also seeking candidates that enjoy mentoring other junior developers on the team, as well as assisting the Tools team to help us improve and document our proprietary tool and engine technology.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

3+ years' experience as a game developer, with a history that includes both design and technical work.

At least one shipped game in either a design or engineering role.

Experience scripting in at least one logical expression system (e.g. a visual scripting system like Unreal Blueprint or a programming language like C#).

Experience working in 3D game-development pipelines/architectures across both artistic and technical disciplines.

Experience communicating effectively across multiple disciplines.

Description(岗位职责)

Work closely with a diverse group of developers to build new features and sustainable technical infrastructures, implement and maintain UI assets in our proprietary engine, and support UX/UI from conception to prototype to the final shipping game.

Actively work to refine game elements, debug pipeline issues as needed, and propose solutions to cleanly solve them in the future.

Collaborate with engineers to enhance our production tools by collecting feedback and to helping the team determine not just what to build, but how to build and to develop artist friendly technologies and prioritize feature roll-out.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of our proprietary engine and collaborate with peers to develop critical game elements that they will then use to produce content.
