Meta Reality Labs is building tools that help people feel connected, andytime, anywhere. We are looking for a talented Display and Optics Supplier Quality Engineer to help us to build next generation display and optics components for our AR/VR products.
As part of Meta Reality Labs Display and Optics Quality team, you will be a key member to work closely with XFN teams to manage all quality issues at vendor factories, setup world class quality control plan and quality system, and also deliver world class quality products for downstream. We are working together to create the future.
This role will be based in Meta Taipei office.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor degree in engineering, or above.
At least 8 years hands on working experience in the high volume consumer electronics industry.
Proven experience on display and optics related process and quality control.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and vendors at same time.
Deep understanding of clean room management, ESD, MSD control.
Familiar with DFM (design for manufacture), DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC and sampling plan definition.
Certified Quality Engineer, 6sigma black belt is a plus.
Fluent English skill.
Can accept fluent travel (Up to 30%) under high pressure.
Description（岗位职责）
Working with the Display and Optics Engineering team and Strategic Sourcing team on the vendor management.
Risk assessment and qualification for both product and process of Optical module and its components suppliers and also subassembly level manufacturers.
Quality plan definition, alignment and execution for the suppliers and subassembly level manufacturer which includes PFMEA, control plan, CTQ processes, correlated inspection and testing between suppliers and subassembly level manufacturer, reliability qualification and monitoring plan, quality reporting, traceability etc.
Working with the engineering team and process team on process development for optics modules and their components level part in the development stages.
Review and Setup measurement SOP and do alignment in the supply chain.
Working with the engineering team to initiate and define optics modules cosmetic inspection method and acceptance criteria.
Process audit and monitoring of Optics modules, and their components level part manufacturer for risk assessment and improvement.
Leading for quality problem solving and yield improvement for the optics modules and their components level part.
Proactive quality monitoring system setup for the purchased optics modules and components level part in supplier factory.
Review and approval of the optics modules and their components level part shipping condition and package design validation.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Optics, display or LED background with quality control experience in mass production environment.
