The Human Interface Devices (HID) team is looking for an Interaction Algorithms Engineer to develop data-driven algorithms for next generation human-computer interactions.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
2+ years of SW development experience, including toolchain development, building analysis frameworks
Experience developing data-driven algorithms, using tools such as statistics, linear algebra, or machine learning
Experience developing analysis scripts in languages such as Matlab, Python, or R
Experience working with large datasets, data preprocessing, data manipulation
Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills
Understands and advocates principles of good software and system design
Able to communicate clearly and collaborate with multi-functional teams
Description(岗位职责)
In this role, you will
Develop and evaluate user centered metrics and new methodologies for human performance analysis
Create, configure and build test cases as part of a structured user trials and engineering studies
Measure, analyze, report, visualize and present results from high frequency studies on input and interaction
Identify and develop interaction algorithm refinements based on human performance analysis
Develop and maintain a analysis framework which can be coordinated with other HID tools
Maintain common development/debugging workflows used by the team across tools
Develop and maintain testing strategies for analysis firmware to ensure flawless integration of new analysis algorithms
Develop triage methodology for analysis framework for incoming issues, including debug tooling
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
The following are not required, but are a plus and may help you be more successful:
Knowledge of applied statistics (multivariate statistics, generalized linear models, machine learning)
Experience with C++, C#, Objective-C and/or Swift
Experience developing software for Augmented Reality (AR) or Virtual Reality (VR)
Experience with 3D mathematics and/or physics/game engines such as RealityKit, Unity
Experience developing for input or interaction or other background in HCI / related fields
Experience with design of experiment (DOE) and multi-scale user studies
