Twisted Pixel Games is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Art Outsource Manager who can oversee all outsourcing needs for our game projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a team-oriented, collaborative approach to development, and is interested in doing what it takes to make the best games possible.
Minimum 2 years of direct studio game industry experience as an Art Outsource Manager with published console/PC titles.
Experience tracking and verifying delivery of assets respectively with their payments for completed assets to ensure budgetary adherence.
Organizational skills regarding the tracking and status of large workloads.
Experience modeling and texturing game assets using Maya and/or 3ds Max, ZBrush/Mudbox, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
Understanding of the art pipeline for making game assets (environments, characters, landscape, props, vehicles, etc.), and experience to effectively guide others in these processes.
Experience adapting to and executing new styles (realistic or stylized) based on project needs.
Time management skills and experience handling large workloads efficiently.
Experience tackling large sections of environments and architecture, and plan their execution.
Experience communicating with team members in collaborating to create the best possible results.
Experience with current generation game engines like Unreal, Radiant or Unity.
Prepare and plan statements of work, requirement packs, and art guides for outsourcing tasks.
Work with internal management and external outsource partners to review and determine price estimates for scope of work.
Plan and schedule the execution of outsource tasks, and evaluate time estimates for completion.
Effectively track and verify delivery of assets respectively with their payments for completed assets.
Provide artistic feedback to outsource vendors to ensure highest quality assets are delivered timely while adhering to the expected style and functionality guidelines defined.
Verify assets meet the required performance standards and technical specifications upon delivery.
Ensure delivered assets meet the organizational requirements and naming convention specifications.
Work with the internal Art Director and Game Director to coordinate and deliver feedback.
Facilitate implementation of assets into the game engine and verify they function as expected.
Work closely with Project Directors and the Art team to ensure the highest quality assets are delivered.
Contribute to establishing the overall look and setting the quality standards for art production assets.
Contribute to other aspects of the project as needed such as creating props, collision and materials.

3+ years of direct studio game industry experience as an Art Outsource Manager with published console/PC titles.
Game art creation experience for multiple shipped game titles.
