At Facebook Reality Labs (FRL), our goal is to explore, innovate and design novel interfaces and hardware subsystems for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team, whose mission is to create the future of soft, wearable technology. We are specifically looking for a candidate with experience in leveraging deep understanding of advancing novel technology to product in order to enable new architectures for wearables and ecosystems of devices. More broadly, the chosen candidate will work with a diverse and highly interdisciplinary team of researchers and engineers and will have access to cutting edge technology, resources, and testing facilities.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, other related technical field or equivalent experience.
10+ years of R&D experience in electrical or systems engineering in a technology leadership capacity.
Experience coordinating cross functional team through scope/quality/performance/resource tradeoffs in product definition with novel technology.
Experience influencing business strategy by enabling new technologies.
Track record of coaching and developing team/colleagues to elevate the overall technical excellence of the organization.
Description（岗位职责）
Analyze AR systems of devices and build models to optimize the full stack with research partners.
Partner with multiple research orgs research, hardware engineering, and design teams to create material, component, subsystem, system, requirements and architectures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on blank-slate and early-phase research and integration prototypes.
Understand relevant industry and guide management on technology investments and strategic industry partnerships.
Identify new research opportunities and move the organization to pursue them.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience contributing or leading industry standard technology groups (Bluetooth SIG, USB-IF, NFC-F).
Expertise in system analysis and modeling tools such as Design of Experiments (DOE) , and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS).
Experience building power system models for multiple use cases and architectures in order to assess system level tradeoffs of technologies.
Experience driving development of multiple novel consumer electronics products throughout the complete product development cycle.
