We are looking for a skilled and motivated Research Scientist to join our team, whose mission is to plan and execute research to develop fabrication/integration methods for Proof of Concept (POC) MEMS devices and materials with a path toward scalable manufacturing for future consumer VR and AR experiences. We are specifically looking for a candidate with experience in defining strategic investments and partnerships for scaling up MEMS and materials integration processes. As a Research Scientist, you will describe complex features and will collaborate with teams who are working on the next generation of wearable electronics. More broadly, the chosen candidate will work with a diverse and highly interdisciplinary team of researchers and engineers and will have access to cutting edge technology, resources, and testing facilities.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
7+ years of experience in functional materials with knowledge of the roles of interfacial and surface chemistry.
7+ years of experience in MEMS material properties, fabrication, and integration processes as well as process development for high volume manufacturing and packaging.
7+ years of experience in driving investments in materials and manufacturing technologies to yield novel systems in new form factors.
10+ years of post-graduate experience in translating research into hardware prototypes and systems.
PhD degree in Chemistry, Materials Science and engineering, or a related discipline.
Description（岗位职责）
Plan and execute research for developing the fabrication/integration methods for Proof of Concept (POC) MEMS devices and materials with a path toward scalable manufacturing.
Identify and define strategic investments and partnerships for scaling up MEMS and materials integration processes.
Work with system integrators, process engineers and researchers to define the form factor and integration requirements of MEMS devices and into their related devices.
Describe complex features and systems in detail and communicate technical information effectively to cross functional teams.

Track record of solving a significant research engineering or research science problem and/or having the sole responsibility/accountability of a technology path or vector with measurable outcomes.
Demonstrated experience in building strategic partnerships to define and deliver POC MEMS devices/materials for scalable manufacturing.
