As part of Apple’s Technology Development Group (TDG), the Neural Rendering ML Engineer will work in a small and dynamic team to solve 3D rendering problems for AR applications. To succeed within this role, you should have shown experience in several of the following areas:
Strong experience in Python and science libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib.
Strong experience in 3D computer vision and rendering algorithms including shading and lighting.
Experience with one or more deep learning framework such as Tensorflow, PyTorch or Keras.
Expert knowledge of the principles, algorithms, and tools of deep learning, including models, training strategies, training dataset building, cost functions, quality metrics, etc.
Experience in applying machine learning towards rendering, preferably multiple projects with different techniques.
Publication record in ML conferences is a plus.
Experience rendering photo-real digital humans is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
Track record of successfully building and shipping products or open source projects.
Creativity and curiosity for solving highly complex problems.
The Algorithms organization in Apple’s Technology Development Group (TDG) is looking for a skilled Neural Rendering ML Engineer with a strong background in computer graphics and computer vision. In this role, you will perform research and development work to design, implement, benchmark, and optimize algorithms for ambitious real-world problems in the domain of digital human rendering. You will work with teams supplying you training data and employing your algorithms in exciting end-user applications.
