As part of Apple’s Technology Development Group (TDG), the 3D Geometry ML Engineer will work in a small and dynamic team to solve 3D face and body reconstruction problems for AR applications. To succeed within this role, you should have shown experience in several of the following areas:
Computer Graphics and/or Computer Vision background
Refining and debugging datasets to maximize the effectiveness of training
Designing ML network architectures; devising augmentation and training strategies
Strong proficiency in Python, writing clean and well structured code
C/C++ an advantage
Solid mathematical foundation in linear algebra
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
ML network architecture considerations for mobile deployment
Passion for delivering high quality software to end-users
Self-motivated with proven ability to effectively prioritize and deliver tasks on schedule
Excellent communication and experience working with cross-functional teams
The Algorithms organization in Apple’s Technology Development Group (TDG) is looking for a skilled 3D Geometry ML Engineer with a strong background in computer graphics and computer vision, with a passion to make world-class software. In this role, you will perform research and development work to design, implement, benchmark, and optimize algorithms for ambitious real-world problems in the domain of face and body reconstruction. You will work with teams supplying you training data and employing your algorithms in exciting end-user applications.
