Summary（岗位介绍）
The Reality Labs Research Team is seeking a TPM to join a newly formed team focused on novel collaborations with academic researchers and scientists.
We are specifically looking for a candidate with experience working on early stage, cross-functional efforts working in partnership with leaders in research, hardware engineering, software engineering, and design. More broadly, the chosen candidate will work with a diverse and highly interdisciplinary team and will have access to cutting edge technology and resources.
You will be part of an innovative team creating prototype hardware + software and collaborating with academic researchers and scientists. This role will require excellent collaboration with partners internal and external.
To be successful, you will be eliminating barriers to your team’s success, clearly communicating results to all stakeholders and ensuring the big picture stays in focus while delving into the details on specific issues. Ideal team members are collaborative, adaptable and resilient, eager to attack unfamiliar problems with curiosity and tenacity, and able to use a light touch to find ways to help the team be more efficient.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in rapid prototyping and creating proof of concept models to share ideas and improve architectural decisions.
Experience working with a cross-disciplinary team of researchers, software engineers and hardware engineers.
8+ years of technical program management experience.
Experience leading a team from concept to deployment.
Project management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration experience across more than one geographic location.
Interest in being a great communicator. Versatility in presenting and facilitating to all levels of the organization technical and non-technical content.
Description（岗位职责）
Own program management strategy and execution for a complex program covering hardware and software.
Develop and manage relationships with academic institutions and researchers and lead conversations on new research.
Lead compliance/implementation of security and privacy policies and requirements set by Meta on new research.
Manage the design, development, and delivery of prototype systems that include deliverables focused on electrical engineering, software development, and mechanical design.
Work with a cross-functional team of Researchers, hardware and software engineers, to set clear deliverables milestones, create integration plans, and identify risks with mitigation plans to deliver a next generation solution. Build and maintain strong working relationships across the Research team and cross-functional leadership.
Effectively communicate program goals and status to key cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

Graduate degree in an engineering or scientific field related to display.
Track record of transitioning research or emerging technologies into consumer products.
