Summary（岗位介绍）
The Meta Reality Lab (RL) Display and Optics (D&O) team focuses on moving the state-of-art display and optical technologies forward for Meta products. The team is responsible for technology development and maturation, component design, manufacturing processes advancement, and test & integration of display and optical module for all Meta RL products and is at the forefront of the display and optics technology innovation for AR/VR.
The Display Hardware team within D&O is looking for an experienced Display Tech lead to drive our display initiatives, especially with new emissive display technologies. This role will be responsible to identify advanced display device and processing concepts, work with our research, BD and GSM teams to build external partnerships, and drive the IP development and incubation activities to mature them through the NTI process for future product interception.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
PhD degree in Electrical engineering, Materials Science, Optical Engineering, Physics or related field.
10+ years of display scientific research and engineering experience.
Proven track of record on development and implementation of leading-edge display technologies.
Proven project management, cross-functional collaboration and executive communication skills.
Description（岗位职责）
Drive new display initiatives, particularly with emissive display technologies.
Developing close collaboration relationships internally and externally to execute display technology planning and development activities.
Identify and incubate innovative technologies through in-house developments, external collaborations, and acquisitions.
Be a contact window to our research, BD and product planning teams for display technology discussions including trade space evaluation, and external partnership engagements.
Drive the display IP development and technology pipeline innovations.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
15+ years of display scientific research and engineering experience
Proven record in driving innovations in AMOLED, QDLED, uLED and other emissive display technologies
Experience in working with business development on joint development and acquisitions
Experience with emissive display optics design and light extraction
Experience in emissive display panel processing, especially ultra-high density display fabrication process for AR/VR
Experience in managing the trade-offs necessary to deliver display technology and designs for consumer products
