Summary（岗位介绍）
The Advanced Audio Technology team in Meta Reality Labs is looking for a Tech Lead Manager to lead and drive technology development for EE and Silicon architecture. In this hands-on role, you will build and lead a small team of engineers developing new architectures and technologies for audio subsystems across all our HW products in the areas of audio amplification, power conversion, sensor design and more, in order to enable our ambitious North Star product visions.
You will lead the development of our short- and long-term technology roadmap in this field, delivering innovative solutions to continually improve our products. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity and can stand up a technology and IP portfolio in this field with their team, develop and validate technologies for product readiness.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
7+ years professional experience
BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience shipping high volume consumer products with specific responsibility for audio subsystem design, including circuit design and debugging of analog and digital circuits
Planning and communication skills
Team management and leadership skills
Hardware architecture design experience
Analog and digital circuit design experience
Mixed signal circuit design experience
PCB design experience
Experience with SPICE simulation tools (filter design, transient analysis, frequency analysis), Audio Precision T&M systems, OrCAD or similar schematic capture and PCB layout tool
Description（岗位职责）
Technical lead for advanced audio EE and Silicon IP development across all HW products
Build and lead world class team of engineers delivering state-of-the-art EE architecture for audio subsystems across all our products
Develop advanced EE and Silicon audio IP roadmap
Lead custom silicon vendor engagement
Identify and evaluate new technologies in the field
Collaborate with cross functional product and technology teams to drive performance metrics forward and land innovative technologies in products
Development of ultra high efficiency Class D amplification
Development of regenerative energy systems for increased efficiency
Validation of new technologies by PoC rapid prototyping
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
Experience in building and leading small R&D teams
Class D audio amplification design experience
DC/DC converter design experience
Embedded Systems design experience
Experience in Digital signal processing (noise shaping, decimation, interpolation, FIR/IIR filters etc.)
Experience in Analog signal processing (filter design, signal conditioning etc.)
A/D and D/A converter design experience
Transducer design (speakers, microphones) and acoustic test development (lab, factory) experience
Understanding of transistor level mixed signal IC design and silicon manufacturing process
Understanding of design, testing and algorithm prototyping as well as algorithm and audio chain prototyping and PoC demos
